Thank you for visiting our website, the following is information about Dr. Richardson and our weight loss program, new patients' specials, and protocols.
Dr. Richardson is an Obesity Medicine Physician. He has had his practice since 1988 and with our medically supervised program, he has helped over 35,000 patients lose weight and learn a healthy lifestyle. Your weight loss program will be customized and is based on nutritional information and behavior modifications, along with injections and medicines that are all FDA-approved and regulated.
To be eligible, you need to meet a particular BMI requirement – BMI of 30 – or – BMI of 27-29 with associated diagnoses of diabetes, hypertension or hypercholesterolemia. You may check your BMI by clicking here. If your BMI is borderline, we also can do a body composition test which may qualify you based on percent body fat.
Currently, we are running a special of $159 for New Patients. This $159 includes Body Composition, an EKG, Screening Lab Work, a brief Medical Exam, your Initial Consultation with Dr. Richardson, and a New Patient Packet including nutritional information.
In order to schedule your initial in-office consultation, our provider needs to first review your screening bloodwork results. We will send you to our partnering company Clinical Pathology Laboratories to get your blood drawn. They have many locations, so we can find the closest one to you by clicking this link here.
As our patient, you do not have any extra cost for the labs because it is included in the $159 special. You also don’t need to call them to make an appt. Once we place the lab order in the CPL system, it will be a walk-in blood draw for you. Make sure to fast for 10 hours, no food, no caffeine, and no medications on the day of the blood draw. Please refrain from taking any vitamins that contain biotin or Vitamin B7 (hair, nails, or skin) for at least 3 days prior to your blood draw. Per Dr. Richardson, it affects thyroid panels.
It takes 1-2 business days for us to receive your lab results, but once the Doctor reviews your results, we will call you to schedule that initial in-office consultation.
After your initial consultation, you will have a monthly consultation with Dr. Richardson. We can monitor your weight loss journey and help you with any questions. Monthly follow-up visits are $79.
